I love a good crisp apple. I bet that this cute little apple is nice and crisp if it weren’t so dang cute! It’s far to cute to eat! This little one sure has enjoyed its time with the other fruits!

- Hook size 3.5mm (E)
- 6mm Safety Eyes, or embroidered

- MR- Magic Ring
- Sc- Single Crochet
- St(s)- Slip Stitch(s)
- Inc- Increase
- Dec- Invisible Decrease
- In front loops only pick up the next two loops, yarn over and pull through twice.
- FO- Fasten Off
- FLO- Front Loop Only
- HDC- Half Double Crochet
- Magic Ring Alternative- chain 2 and single crochet in the second chain from the hook.
- This will be crocheted in the round.
- If not specified or in () repeat to the end of the round.
- Stuff as you go.
Apple- With red
Rd 1: 6 sc in MR
Rd 2: inc (12)
Rd 3: sc, inc (18)
Rd 4: sc, inc, sc (24)
Rd 5: sc 3, inc (30)
Rd 6-11: sc around (30) (6 rounds)
Rd 12: sc 3, dec (24)
Rd 13: sc, dec, sc (18)
Rd 14: sc, dec (12) Insert eyes between rds 7 and 8, 6 sts apart.
Rd 15: dec (6)
Fo and leave a long tail. Insert the needle through the top of the apple to the bottom and move over a st and insert needle back to the top. Pull tight to create an indent on top and bottom. Tie off and sew in the ends.
Stem- With brown
Ch 4 sc in 2 ch from hook, sc 2.
FO and leave tail for sewing. Attach to the top of the apple with the leaf.
Leaf- With green
Ch 5 in the 2 ch from hook sl st, sc, hdc, 5 hdc last and turn to the other side of the ch, hdc, sc, sl st 2. Last sl st is in the 1 ch. FO with a tail for sewing and slip the tail through the leaf to the rounded bottom of the leaf and attach to the top of the apple.
